This workshop stresses the benefits of playing real and at the top of your intelligence. It offers ways into the Game of the scene that is more real and emotional and less heady and mechanical as well as through exercises that help you notice what's unusual within a scene.
You will be invited to deal with the scene on a moment-by-moment basis and deal primarily with what’s already there rather than constantly inventing new things to throw into the mix.
We will also explore how basic endowments at the beginning of a scene can sustain a whole 20 minute performance piece.
Spend a day creating big laughs from the simplest things and trying less hard in order to get greater results from your improvised scenes.
